Celebrating and advocating for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Capital Pride is dedicated to creating an inclusive and respectful space for the 2SLGBTQ+ community through its annual festival and year-round advocacy. With a mission to celebrate, educate, connect, and empower individuals, Capital Pride works to ensure the full diversity of the community is honored. Founded with new leadership in 2015, the organization successfully organized the 30th anniversary of the festival and has since formed strong partnerships, including with the Bank Street Business Improvement Area and the City of Ottawa. Through its governance and festival operations committees, Capital Pride continues to foster unity and advocacy for the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Ottawa.
